The aim of this area is to improve the selectivity of action and the pharmacokinetic properties of antimicrobial peptides, in order to facilitate their therapeutic application. Innovative solutions are being studied for :

1. Deliver antimicrobial peptides inside pathogens
2. Enhance their pharmacokinetic properties using appropriate galenic forms
3. Develop functionalised surfaces to prevent infection or allow controlled release of antimicrobial peptides
